I submitted my loan covenant for review on Monday 20 June 2011.

Personally delivered it to office some more.

Then yesterday night, Tuesday (8.21pm), the bitch msg:
J:Can come bk to office as I need to go thru the loan covenant with u..

I only saw the msg at 9.08pm
Now??

J: (9.18pm)
Actually I wan u to come bk after work. Now too late ad. U come bk tml after work la.

Me: Okay...sure no problem :) See you tmr.

So I went back today. Tabao McD Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and ate in the basement carpark alone before I went up to level 23a to see her.

I went up, she went to have dinner. Then she say "oh fmh will review your work"

I was like "HUH?" Okay....fmh same level as me, joined 3 months later than me.
Okay yes she did do it last year.
But you call me back all the way from office just to let a junior review my file?!?!?!

Okay I amended, and finished at 12midnight. Then she say pass to lks to review. OK....end of drama.

I tell you, everyday I deal with her is a nightmare.

She had the balls to tell me that everything can be negotiated and she is not the uneasy type.

Client already rushing for the financial covenants to be signed, and she refuse to review unless I give her the hardcopy file.

Harlooooo everything is in softcopy okay…all the workings….is in softcopy….

Blardy old fashioned lady….got problem with using the computer…

I have to document this down so that I remember how bitchy she is…

Remind me not to name my future daughter after her…

Me: Hey! J just now u mentioned the loan covenant u wanna review in hardcopy is it? Do you still need it?

Her: Yup. By right u shud set up a proper file like how last round did. U need to file in all relevant documents

Me: Ya the file I will do later once I get all relevant documents… I already set up…no worries.. I mean now whatever I are reviewing… cuz if you want it to be printed for your review now for your convenience at least I can make arrangements for you

Her: Actually I need the whole file.. Just like how u submit the awp. Cox I need to see all the relevant documents.

Me: I see. Do u mind reviewing the workings that I sent to you first because included in there is the engagement letter as well as the report letter.. I also not sure if the workings are alright..hehe need your help to review it.. if you need the engagement letter and the report letter and the workings to be printed out..like now for your kind review..at least I can still arrange for your convenience J

Her: Kenot cuz I dun wan double work. Cox I need to refer to ur supporting documents then only I know whther ur working is correct. Just chase the client to giv us the documents fast to avoid for the delay la.. N now I also fully occupy. So better get everything first k.

I don’t feel like texting her anymore.

I asked TST for leave. And it caused major drama whereby FMF, TST and LKS nearly argued again. They say it is not my fault. But duhhh I was like the batu api right….

Don’t know what fucked up system they have. TST come and put the blame on me saying that I didn’t say properly hence she didn’t let me take leave.

Harlo…I did tell her in my sms that I already booked ticket and ady asked FMF.

She ownself sensio. Blardy bitch she!!!

Some more got the guts to whatsapp me and say that she is not an uneasy type. Let me type it out for record…

Eva called and asked for Sam. I said he wasn’t around. Then she asked if I have the ACCA Tax Based booklet. I said no. Then she asked if I remember anything about renovation cost. I say no. Then I say shall I get Sam to call you back when he comes back. Then she fatt lan zha and say NO NEED I FIND OUT MYSELF….zzzZZZZZZzzzz….Sensio betul….

Had my TOEFL test this morning.

After crying last night, I wonder how much did I really study.

I guess TOEFL isn’t something you can study for.

Anyway I just main bantai only la…haih..

Reading was okay, Listening was….OK I think…

Then Speaking was a piece of crap!! I talked so slow I couldn’t finish my points within the time limit.

Dah lah nervous!! Then sleepy! Haih…I guess I was rather incoherent….

Writing was…ok…I think…sufficient time I had…

Then I went home and refreshed myself and looked forward to a great day with Diana.

Yes, she is the one that I look for whenever anything happens to me, good or bad, happy or sad!

We went to Levain, sesat abit…but we found the place with MF’s help!

Such a quaint little place! We will definitely be back!!

Then we went to Pavillion to take pictures! Haha!! I was practically drooling at all the brands!!

Haih I remembered my dream of the Kung Fu Panda Gucci bag worth RM 7000 plus…

Do I really like that Gucci bag until I keep dreaming of it?? RM 2000 plus…really can buy meh?!?!

Anyway I’m so glad the pictures turned out so well!!

We both look so pretty!!

HAHA Funny la she!! But secretly I hope what she says comes true!!!

After that we went to Parade to get someone a birthday gift...but we never got it...

Instead we bought dresses from Blook cuz they were having a sale!!

2 dresses for less than RM100....cheap lo!!!

Episode 3: More tears!

Episode 3 started the day with more drama. Apparently we have been slandered and condemned for going to gym for 2 hours then coming back to work for one hour then we all go home and do not work at all.

Hence we are not able to complete our work in time and were not able to offer help to another team. This is complained by the senior manager of another team who is unable to plan for her own resources and unable to ensure that her team members complete her work in time and thus finding a party to blame.

Hence we pulak kena the blame?!?! Helo?? You already had our help during pre-finals, and we did most of the work while your team members go home earlier than us most of the time. Comparing the hours we stay back and your team members stay back?? Fail to the max sia!!!

Please look at yourself in the mirror before you backstab people.

Gah..hate this feeling of being put on the table….then now we have to prove ourselves by not only finishing our own work but her team’s work by end of June.

WHY are we put through this just because of what other people say about us??

Our boss does not have faith is us…that’s why….

WHY are we giving up our life and health for such a boss??

Because….of…money? Haih…

It’s really a cruel world out there….

MX cried, MF cried, I cried….is this the life I am looking for?

Is this the life I deserve?

After studying for a degree and getting my ACCA qualifications?

I still have to endure this fucking working environment??

Episode 2: The Drama Continues

Early in the morning, I got an email from Joanne saying that Exeter Business School welcomes me, blah blah…and it did brighten up my mood a little….

But you know they say, good things do not last, so ahahaha yea…drama AGAIN!!!

Poor Feli was the victim this time, getting an earful for by passing LKS.

TST called her and told her off for by-passing LKS, didn’t give him the engagement letter for final review, and got SK our partner to sign it. TST ask Feli to call LKS and explain her actions.

Like WTF?!?!?!

FMF helped her la duh!! FMF already reviewed it!! Got SK to sign it!! Got the job done!! What’s there to be mad about?? Like a kid needing to be pacified cuz mommy didn’t give u any attention?!?!

Are we babysitters now?? Of a 31 years old man?!?!? MARRIED MAN?!?!?!

Frightening…If men are like that…I don’t want to marry any one….

Later in the evening, I was talking to FMF. Seems like she was also disturbed by this incident.

She felt bad because she crossed the borders of being manager and staff. She said that if she was not so close to us, maybe she would not feel so sad.

I beg to differ. I believe that if a manager has a good relationship with her staff, not only it will make a better work environment, we are also more motivated as we feel like a team where our manager really cares for us, and understands us and puts herself in our shoes and feel for us.

Unlike those bosses that keep their distance, they will not have as good a relationship with their staff. Maybe just at the surface.

I duno...really...no comment...diff boss take diff approach....Will talk to her again....console her so she doesn't feel so bad....

With a heavy heard I am writing this, after flowing a bucketful of tears, my emotions are in turmoil, like hurricane. I read someone’s status on fb which said, if you wanna see the rainbow, you gotta endure the storm first. Oh well, I guess that aptly describes my feelings right now.

8 June 2011, who knew it would be such a day, full of phone calls and shouting.

I started the day by having yum cha session with Jimmy and Amery at SS15, releasing tension, laughing and having fun, but the rest of the day didn’t go like that at all!

I went home and continue working on the dormant company which my client was chasing me for. I did until 3am and then I really knocked out. I woke up in the morning, went to work, continue doing my feedback reports and then client called….asked me for my progress. I was like..err…I’m doing and will try my best to complete it but it is still pending my manager’s review you know!! She kept pushing and already I wasn’t feeling good. And the period didn’t help okay…

Then bomb number 2 came when another client called and asked who to send the email on loan covenant to. I was wondering why he look for me, and why is he asking such a weird question… I mean we only have one email address right….gah…so I said, just send it and we will get someone to do it. Then I asked my senior who did it the previous round, she said did it. So naturally I forward the email to E. I said, this should be for you ya! GONE CASE. Immediately phone rang, JAMIE, WHO GAVE YOU THE IDEA THAT THIS IS FOR ME? I HAVE NO TIME TO DO IT. I WILL TALK TO YOUR MANAGER ABOUT THIS.

Wahahaha.. my heart sank…at that minute… I know I’m so dead…I totally had a bad feeling about it.

True enough, my manager called and ask me to do it. Wow, amazingly now I have time? Amongst all the deadlines to meet? The increasing pile of work on my desk? And I couldn’t say NO?!? Fucking bitch….

FINE. That totally spoilt my day already.

Then came the ultimatum, a phone call from the male manager, shouting again at me. PLEASE PASS THE WORD AROUND, WHEN DO YOU ALL WANT TO PULL OUT? THIS TIME LAST YEAR, WE ALREADY PULLED OUT OF CLIENT’S PLACE! AND DO NOT ASK MY STAFF TO PRINT ANY MORE THINGS FOR YOU ALL. WE ARE ALL VERY BUSY HERE, WE ARE ALSO RUSHING ACCOUNTS. YOU ALL COMPILE AND GET SOMEONE TO COME BACK TO OFFICE AND PRINT!! AND THERE IS A SET OF REVIEWED ACCOUNTS ON MY TABLE. GET SOMEONE TO COME BACK AND COLLECT IT, AMEND IT AND PRINT OUT HARDCOPY AND PUT ON MY DESK FOR MY REVIEW. IT IS NOT READY FOR FINAL PRINTING.

Gone case…After that phone call…tears flowed non-stop as I re-told the story to my colleagues…

Soft as a tauhu, I cry easily, maybe partly due to my period causing my hormones to go haywire.

Anyway anyhow, it pushes the bar to towards the UK plan….

Argh…I can’t decide!!!

Haircut! After so long!

After keeping my hair for so long…I finally decided to cut it!

On Wesak Day, do a good deed, and also on Mom’s birthday….and also a public holiday!!

HAHA…anyway I am always so random…

So impulsively I went to A-Saloon at Empire Mall, Subang to cut it off.

Thank god the hairstylist did a good job!

I didn’t feel ugly after the cut, I loved it!

Will I do it again? As in keep my hair long for donation to www.locksoflove.org

On this memorable date, I found my whilte gold bracelet!! The bracelet that went missing few weeks ago, as mentioned in the last post!

Wow I am so so happy!

Hope that it is a good sign for the new year, 2011!!!

It was also a secret outing day where we randomly went somewhere. 7 of us, partners-in-crime, me, michelle, jas, eva, andrew, gary and sam. I am not allowed to talk about it. But it was fun!

It’s the first day of this new year.

And as random as I was, I decided to go shopping for a new hp today so that Yi could use my old one cuz her hp spoilt.

Her pink Samsung hp! That was RM900+ That was so nice!

Anyway, she accompanied me to Pyramid, and I fell in love with this hp that Isaac recommended.

Mainly cuz the camera was 8mp, and because it was smthg diff, not iPhone!

Not that I didn’t like iPhone, it was just too common!

I didn’t realize that the sound of the hp was so soft, as compared to my Nokia, it was barely audible.

Guess I’d have to get used to it!

I took an interest free installment plan. So it was RM 2200/12 months.

Stretch abit my cash flow! Haha after getting my bonus I spent it all…gosh…

But it was all worth it! A reward for myself as I have been working so hard!

Feel so pampered…ahhhhhhhh

I am mourning for the lost of my white gold bracelet! The one I got myself as a congratulations for graduating ACCA!!! I didn't realize it has been gone for days!! haih cuz when i was goin in and out of the toilet i only tink of my buttock hole and din check if bracelet still there. That was Thurs. Then I took half day MC and slept al the way. Duno if it was still there at that time.

Fri I manage to drag myself back to work. Then was rushing work whole day. Another drama to tell you when I see you. Damn scary the new manager! Then Fri night went to Sunway Giza to meet up with my friend to hear his story abt his EY interview. Another long story to tell!!

Sat I went to Sam's dad funeral which I din know the way. GPS also cnt find the place. Had to call ppl to guide me. Reach there, sit a while, then went to Joo's grandpa's funeral in Klang with WY. She drove. Then night went to Pearlpoint with parents for dinner. Most horrible Korean food I ever had!!

Then Sun 8am in the morn kena diarrhea again. More than 10x. All the way until lunch time. Din dare to eat much. Only drank soup. Then went with Sis and WY to Zoo Negara that area for the ATV ride thingy. Ady paid so could not back out. But it was fun. I checked the pics, my bracelet not there. So I realize it must have been gone prior to that.

By the time I came home I was whacked. Diarrhea once on Mon morn before I came to work. Then work was so rushed that day I also didn't realise my bracelet wasn't there. Until night, my manager and the 2 seniors (I tink u can c the pics on fb) they ask me to go dinner with them at Sushi Zanmai. Initially I rejected but dad call to say I got no dinner at home. That was like 9.30pm ady. So I just went for dinner lo. By the time got home was like 11.30pm. No energy to even watch my TVB series. I just bath and slept.

The time I realized it was Tues during lunch, which was yday. Then I started panicking and looking arnd. Then only I realize it has been gone for days.....I am so heartbroken...

What kind of life I have?? Stressful and hectic all the time...So near Xmas and I still haven't had the mood to celebrate. Alot of things going through my mind...

Deja Vu! A record I do not mean to break

Dad's body back on 17 Dec, funeral at Xiao En on 18 Dec (Sat).

Everything must have been so hectic for the poor guy who loved peace and quiet.
Lil bro only 7, still don't know a thing. Pity the lil feller!

How would I feel if I never had a chance to know my dad? Or I wasn't allowed to know his death? Or I never remembered being there? Only have pictures without memories of this man that was the reason of my existence?

We all went to pay our last respects to Mr Stanley Lee, fmf, eva, andrew, okl, tys, jas, fmh and gary.

After giving the white gold, we sat together and started talking. Okl, being the CNN, started sharing news about what's going on in the office. Heard that many were resigning and the partners are up to their necks trying to heal with it. We were laughing so loud while talking, I think I sorta felt the stares from the relatives. Oh well, Gary and Eva la..laughing so loud!!

I didn't know my way there although I've seen it before. TYS woke me at 10.45am telling me that his car's road tax expired so I had to fetch him. In return, I got KFC as my brunch. Haha!

Anyway, since none of us (me, tys, fmh) knew the way, we had to call OKL to come from Kepong to lead us. Thank God the guy is a super nice angel that rescued us! Although he 'zhat' my driving and all...

OKL say if he was driving behind me, he would hate me as I don't know where am I going. I was like 'DUH!!' I really did not know where I was going! I memang duno the way! What you want me to do? Ish..but I can't 'zhat' him cuz he was my navigator...lol..

Well since we were waiting for okl to come to Menara Sunway from kepong to meet us, we tabao KFC and ate in the car. We were super late. Suppose to leave at 12.30. End up 1.30pm only we left. Arnd 2pm we reached. Everyone else already there. Paiseh. Haha.

Well, I found out something I personally thought was very hilarious since it is so rare. TYS actually woke up at 6am and thn went grocery shopping on a Sat morn with his gf. Wow! I haven't heard of guys these days going grocery shopping! Especially at the wet market!

Then when we met Andrew at the Xiao En, he also told us he did the same thing, alone, for his mom. Then BOTH of them started discussing the art of grocery shopping! TYS ask if Andrew preferred wet market or hyper market. Then Andrew shared his experiences of not buying from the stall if the supplier increased the price....Imagine me sitting in between them laughing non-stop!!

Sweat la...times have changed is it?? Now guys go grocery shopping and women do al the work??

I can't deny I admire Andrew for being such a filial son. Waking up at 7am and going grocery shopping for his mom which has difficulty moving around is so touching. I admit I cannot outdo this spirit!

We came back to Subang arnd 4pm ish. Initially didn't plan to go for Joo's grandma's funeral. But WY called and say she was going. So I tagged along since she already knew the way. Joo is our 'ji-mui' mah...we're known him since college right...abt 7 years? WOW!!

That's how I ended up going for 2 funerals in a day. A record which I hope I don not have to break!

Dinner with parents at Pearlpoint, some random Korean food restaurant which the food sucks! Never ever to go again!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I was simply awesome! Although I always fail to enter the cinema for the introduction part..1st time was i did not realise there was an intro, 2nd time was late too...guess it wasn't meant to be...

Anyway, I watched it twice...in the same week, on Wed, 12.30pm, 17 Nov 2010 (Hari Raya Qurban) with Sutha, that time was so adamant on watching it ASAP! And 2nd time with Wolfy on Sat, early bird, 20 Nov 2010, 11.45am.

Both times I shut my eyes when Nagini (Bathilda Bagshot) attacked Harry Potter at Godric's Hollow!! Terribly horrible!!

1st time I missed more as I wasn't prepare for the ugly scenes! I rmbr when I first watched HP, I didn't even dare look at Voldermort!

It was our 1st outing, me and Sutha, and he was so kind to fetch me. We had like our adventure, walking round and round Pyramid to search for Robot Sushi, end up deciding not to have that cuz it looked "dodgy", went to Sushi Zanmai and it only opened at 12pm, and we ended up at Sakae Sushi. Haha, what a memorable lunch.

After the movie, we even shopped around for a while. Went to Sinma and bought 3 scrunchies. Bought Dad his Xmas prezzie, RM 19 maroon Camel T-shirt. Bought Mom and Sis Siew Bao, Portugese tarts and other goodies. And also went to Marks&Spencer and bought Dad a bar of chocolate digestive biscuits, which he kept complaining abt the price!

For Wolfy, it was our 2nd outing. After all these years we've known each other, the 1st time we met was at Sunway Pyramid, had Sushi Zanmai, watched a Chinese movie, 3 Kingdoms. Hung out at Popular bookstore and had dinner at SS19.

This time it was Harry Potter, Italiannies, Popular for him while I went hunting for my Annual Dinner dress. Then Kim Gary for terrible 'HK Milk Tea' before we headed home, with a full full tummy!

Sunday, yday, I went to parents to paint Pearlpoint. Hard work it was! Am so glad I studied hard and do not need to be a painter. The paint smell made me nauseous and horrible!!

After all these years, I always wished HP was true, that magic wands and Hogwarts existed. Life needs some magic sometimes. Especially at times like this...

Today I was called into the room, to face my mgr, fmf and SIC, tmx. I think it was mainly due to my poor coaching of the new junior, that I created a horrible impression of myself and she is afraid of me, or more aptly put, SHE HATES ME.

I can feel it and I know she has all the right in the world to hate me for sms-ing her 6am in the morning. Well, it was Kim that spit out the story, while feli, jas was thr too. I tot I'd be mad at her. But no, I am more mad at myself for committing such a crime and allowing this to happen.

Sorry is all I can say. Sorry to her for causing her to have such a terrible memory. Sorry to myself for such actions that will haunt me and my career forever.

Just feeling so down down down........

I dare say I did put in a lot of effort in coaching her. I tell her stuff with details, tell her again and again. Tell her face to face, remind her through phonecalls and emails. What is there to forget and not to do? Why must she pretend to be the victim of my cruelty and make it reflect so so badly on me?

I must constantly remind myself not to trust anyone.

DO NOT TRUST ANYONE!

Do not put my heart and soul into helping people that are not worth it. Just take care of myself and do my own stuff and worry about myself.

No one is going to appreciate all the hardwork behind the scene...No one!!

Wish I could cast 'Obliviate' and erase this horrible memory....

Today was FMF's 30th bday!

Haha we went to Zhia's Kitchen to celeb, small lunch function, and I drove all the way to RT to get her a Strawberry tart cake.

Hope she is happy!

Recently she has been initiating chats on MSN and being very proactive on communicating with me. God knows why. I am humbled, yet wary. I dread getting to personal with upper mgmt, especially ppl that have hurt me b4, no matter intentionally or not.

Anyway the whole point of this post was to commemorate "a scene from movies" moment that happened to me.

I left SMC arnd 8pm, when I starting to feel hungry. KC was the last person in office when I left, so I said bye. Then he asked me if I am going back to Menara to work, I say no, cuz the rest already left, Imma going straight home!

Haha he say he thought auditors always work very late, and I replied, oh well, who knows, recently change of trend, I guess!

Well I was hungry, and hands holding the door handle, I left in a hurry.

When I reached home, I went up to my room, put my stuff and i realize my bracelet wasn't on my wrist. I panicked. I don't rmbr when it could have possibly dropped.

I searched my handbag, the laptop bag, traced my path to the car, and it was no where to be seen.

I started to panic. I was contemplating whether to go all the way back to SMC to search for it. Hoping that it hasn't yet been taken by anyone who wished to keep it to themselves.

Sis had to go do assignment, but dad was kind enough to accompany me as I did not want to pay another RM3 for parking again.

I flew all the way to SMC, hoping that I most probably dropped it in the room I was working in, and KC was still there to let me in to find it. Or I'd find it lying around somewhere at the parking machine when I dug for my purse.

The moment I reached SMC, I spotted KC walking to the staff carpark. Dad ask me to stop the car mid-way and go call him. He would take over and drive.

If I had a camera filming me, I would have looked rather ridiculous. I stopped the car halfway through the entrance, jumped out, ran and shouted "KC!"

I bet he got a shock!!

He turned, and I ran towards him. I asked if he is free, rushing to go home? He was like WHY?

I felt kinda stupid when I blurted out that I lost my bracelet and wanted him to go all the way up to Level 5 to unlock the doors and let me search.

KC put his right hand into his pocket and I thought he was fumbling for the keys.

Guess what??

He took out my bracelet!!!!!

I was shocked, speechless and so happy!!

I took it from him and was like OMG! Where did you find it! Thanks! I was so worried...blahh blahh

In the midst of my blabber I heard him saying that he found it in the lift and was going to hand it over to the security guards the next morning.

Oh gosh, thank God I went back! I wouldn't have thought to get it from the security guards if I didn't find it then. Prolly just gave up hope.

I was like Thank you so much! and Ran back to the car which Dad kept driving further and further, totally oblivious that his daughter was running behind the car.

Lol, wonder if he thought I was rude...

Anyway...when I was in the car, I reflected and it occurred to me that it really did seem like a scene from the movies....

Hmm...how should I thank this nice young man...??

Ask him out for lunch?? That was Dad's idea. I thought it was tooooo old school.

But if I merely say thanks, is that sincere enough??

Gosh, at this hour, I should be sleeping, right?
6am in the morning and here I am fretting about my work.
You know why? F*** the stupid junior!!
I wanted to keep my blog only about happy things, but here is the only place I can turn to at this time!!

I don't understand...Is it so hard to follow instructions?? Don't even need to use your brains!! She said she finished her work, but I don't see it where it should be. Out of 50 companies's working paper that was suppose to be ready, 9 she didn't have to do, and yet I only see 16 Excel files. WHERE ARE THE REST??

I wanted to trust her, just like Feli said, trust her! I did but she made me very disappointed. She made me lose my trust on her by not doing her work properly.

She's slow, yet I did not yell at her face in front of an audience like what my senior did to me when I was new. Instead, I ask her to on the office chat and tell her nicely. My words were not harsh, but merely straightfoward and honest. I didn't use any bad words and ask her to F*** off!!

Why is it that she can't seem to follow instructions??!!

And the guys, they seem to have a problem communicating. Why cnt tys tel lms that the files were in the meeting room instead of the filing room?? Tell ppl in filing room, sure he search and came up empty handed!! WTF WTF!!

I must be such a bitch that my junior hates me so much she just can't help making me so stressed!!

Is it very hard to print some excel files? I saved her the trouble by not printing all 100++ companies but just print 8. Asked her to do it like a million times. End up I had to initiate it on the day I took leave.

FINE, I DON'T MIND HELPING HER!! SERIOUSLY!!

I did print from home, but connection was so slow that it takes about an hour to print 34 pages. I printed until the 3rd company I asked her to continue for the remaining. She DID NOT AND WENT HOME. Am I asking her to stay back for hours and hours to work her ass off?? Just have to press Ctrl + P so hard meh??

I wish I could tell my mgr how disappointed I am. But I don't want to seem like a whiner. If I can't even get a junior to do admin work properly, how am I going to coach her through work itself??

OMG... Am I suppose to take the blame on all these shit that went wrong??

Happy Father's Day daddy!

Wanted to wish you this morning but you were in a grumpy mood!
Were we really that late? We woke up and was ready by 10am but you didn't want to go to church! WHY YOU PMS??

We really love you, daddy! You have done so much for us! You practically lived your life revolving around us! You know us best, you 2 precious daughters! You know we have work, and have to study for exams, you remember everything!

You prepare us breakfast, wash our clothes, wash our cars, on Father's Day. I really don't know what is going through your mind, other than thinking of us all the time.

On Friday, when I work non-stop until Sat morning, I know you felt my stress. You would not let me drive, even a short distance, to send my colleague the file. You so anxiously offered to help me send my file to office! Yes, I was too sleepy and tired to say anything at that time, but I did notice your concern!

You wake up early every morning and make me breakfast, send me to work, and fetch me from work at the end of the day. You are always there to listen to me whining about work stress, complaining about office politics and always stand by me to give me the support I need to strive on!

I remember when my new bed arrive without the legs. You got so angry at the indian man. Keep trying to call him to deliver what he should have. Seeing you get so worked up over 4 legs, I feel so touched. I think the money spent to call him worth more than the legs already.

Daddy, we may not say it as often as we should, but we love you so so much! No other man on earth can compare to you! God is my Father in Heaven and you are my Father on Earth! Taking care of me with all your life! There are so many so many things that you have done for us, we can never thank you enough!

I remember when you had to do your eye-operation. I was so worried. I wanted so much for you to have the best medical care. But I didn't have the money. If it were anyone of us in your place, I am sure you would put us in a private hospital no matter the cost. But you insist to go to the government hospital, getting the stupid lousy treatment that they give and make us so worried!

Thank God you made it! I really didn't have much faith in the doctors and nurses, but I had faith in God. I trust that God will take care of my Daddy and guide the doctors to do the right thing. Thank God you recovered. I guess some credit goes to the professor that did your operation too.

Since I started working, I spent less time with my family. Every chance I get to stay at home, I try to accompany you. I really dislike the way my workload has taken away my personal time. I am trying hard, trying hard to make all my sacrifices worthwhile. Hope that one day I will break-free.

Great Ending! Fistful Of Stances!

I just finished the last episode of this show. Tears flowing as I witness the happy ending.

I hear dad waking up to watch World Cup downstairs. So cute la he, after so many years having to work and missing WC, he's finally got a chance to enjoy it without having to worry about waking up for work the next day.

Ironically, it's me that has to wake up early tomorrow, or rather, in a few hours.

However, after watching the last episode, I felt the urge to let go some emotions, and the only place I could think of is here.

My dear blog, the ever-available listener.

I love happy endings, I like to see people finding true love, see the happenings and dramas of lives.

I weep as I feel the emotions portrayed in the drama, feel the way the people feel, and wonder what would I do if I were in their shoes.

Would I be ever so tough to withstand all the challenges? Would I survive through all the turbulences? Would I make it through the years without giving up?

I really don't know...

However, I wish to know when will it be my turn to witness the love story of my life. How would it be? Dramatic as the dramas I've watched? Plain and predictable as I hope it would not be? Unpredictable as I am?

Hmm...Time to go to bed and pray hard I am able to finish my work by this week. God give me the strength to hang in there. Pray that the week will progress smoothly....Pray that there will be good things happening...

Today is the day I face my predicament!

I was so nervous as the previous feedback, I heard so many misunderstandings about me, so many bad rumours and feedbacks that I broke down and cried. I will never forget the moment I rushed to the ladies and cried my heart out. Tears flowed freely as my heart was so so hurt. I went home and cried again, as I recalled the feedback to my parents.

This time, I was paranoid. How could I not be? After the horrifying experience the previous round, I dare not imagine what awaits me.

When I receive fmf's sms that I was next in 30 minutes time, I couldn't concentrate on my work at all. I set the alarm on my hp and waited for my death row.

It started off with Boss asking on how I felt for this engagement. I answered the typical, learning curve and everything. Boss tried to prompt me for more, and I started self-praising myself...*tak tau malu

Anyway, thank God the feedback wasn't that bad. They actually thought I improved alot from my previous review. Thank goodness!!

Boss mentioned that the seniors and above often thought that I was a Year 2 staff. Boss mentioned that I had exhibited ability to team lead. Guess they were quite happy with me slogging my life away for the company.

Boss mentioned that there were some things that they ( Boss, FMF, LKS) discuss the previous day that he doesn't know why they chose not to mention today. THAT SURE DID KEEP ME WONDERING!!

I told Eva, and she disclosed that they are trying to fight for me being rated as a 3.5 instead of the normal 3. When I heard the news, I was like "HUH?? So difficult to get another 0.5 higher?"

The normal is 3...Heck..I can work like a snail and get rating 3, just to progress. After all the HOO HAA of improving my feedback, re-writing it, adding in more self praise, just for that 0,5 rating? If I'd gotten a 4...It might not be that shocking...

Maybe I should be thankful for that extra 0,5....I don't know....I don't feel a thing....No big deal...

Not that I am being proud of myself, it is more like a no impact to me.

Work my ass off and getting such a rating...hrumph...I'd rather not.

Getting praised during the feedback verbally means nothing as it doesn't reflect anywhere else. Merely for my hearing.

Ya, I am outstanding, I exceeded expectations, I worked like a Senior...But I don't get the recognition due...

Screw it...thank God no more negativity, no more misunderstandings, no more crying...

Am I not thankful? I don't know...Just let it be...

That's the day today. A once in a lifetime date. Don't know why I seem to notice such stuff. Yet I've yet to do significant things during the special dates tat passed. I only take note of them.

Like 010101, 020202, 010203, etc...u get what I mean right...

This morning my mood really sucked. Face was damn black. I hate the way that the royalties behave. They are like so free now, and refuse to acknowledge that we are still so busy and chose to ignore our silent pleas for help.

They can go on leave, balik kampung, go watch movie, whilst we toil away and destroy our health.
Not that I blame them for being selfish, but they could have been a tad more considerate! Or at least ensure they do not set standards that they themselves cannot meet!

It's been so demotivating to go to work after they rejected my holiday request. What's the point of claiming OT when you are not allowed to utilize it?

This sux. Hope it ends soon.

Bad Emo Day

Today I was going to ask for one week off next week, in conjuction with Mothers' Day as well as Sis's uni break. Who knows, it was rejected straight to my face. And they had the guts to ask if I'm ok with it? Hell, who would be??

Here we are working our ass of for these unappreciative people. The least they can do is give us a break since we do not claim OT, expenses, and get the pay we should as professionals.

I am so having the feeling to resign, 24 hours notice, just throw everything and go off. Yet I only have the guts to complain and not to do it. Darn, it really takes alot of courage to actually take the step of resignation!

What a job! Ever so depressing, rushing and stressed up. We gave our health, wealth, time, youth, to this company, and what do we get in return?

Today OBT was so nice, he actually helped me to verify figures although he wasn't physically here. I felt that connection, the concern, the warmth, the kindness that he showed. I don't know if it was purely professional or mixed with a hint of personal, but I was certainly touched by his thoughtfulness.

It was certainly nice to have someone to lean on to, to rely on, to be there for you.

He's really a good man. God Bless Him.

Labour-Free Day!

Thanks to OBT, for helping me tie my tax, DT, and cash flow! Omg! What would I do without him!?!?!

Thank God for his help, then I can enjoy Labour-Free Day!!

Oh gosh, can't imagine if I had to spend my day doing tax and DT and CF!! I'll die man!!

I mean, I have no idea how to do it at all!! I tried to look into it. But I am damn lost. Took me so long just to verify one figure. Now I'm doomed!!

It's his last day in Sunway, how sad that is! Just when we had a chance to work together, there he goes again!

But I am thankful that we had this short-time to work together. He's really good at what he's doing, really patient and really nice! Although he has a temper could possibly blast at any time, he never did it in front of me.

He stayed back so late, made me feel so guilty! His team mates all abandoned him and went back already! All because of me =( bad bad Jamie!

And I made it worst by accompanying Eva to toilet with Feli and forgetting about him passing to me the parking tag!! Made him walk all the way up again with his laptop! And I forgot to apologize when we were chatting just now!! Stupid me!!

Oh I found out he is damn fussy about punctuality. THANK GOD I never worked with him before! I AM ALWAYS AND FOREVER LATE!! However hard I try not to be, somehow will just end up late. I think it's the genes that MOM passed on to me.

Oh well, he can be really patient with ppl like SAM!! OMG!! Feel like slapping the feller!! Keep on bugging OBT to go play ball with him!! Wanted to scold him ady when he kepf asking when OBT ady kindly and graciously declined so many times!! ARGH HATE HIM!!

It's late. Tmr is the day I don't have to work. Yet I don't know if I'll be able to go sing k, which will be damn expensive since I can't make it during lunch hour. Darn, family comes first before me.

City Ride!!

Finally my first time taking a ride in the infamous City that have been the buzz amongst the royalties. When they are here, don't even dream of getting a seat in the royal car!

Anyway, just got news that it's his last day on the job. Argh, sad sad, such a short time! It's like we never had a chance to really work together. Yeah, he's helping me on my tax and stuff, but we never talk much.

It's really weird. Though this may be due to stress and all, I am so confused because I don't know how I actually feel. I wish there is an obvious approach to such issues, but sadly, there can never be a clear cut answer on such 'emotions'.

Sometimes I feel as if the feeling is damn strong, feel the urge to just come clean and give it a try. But at times it's just so mundane and awkward and just plain weird.

Oh God, I do not have time for guessing games. I need some form of hint on this. Either its yes or no, and then I can get on with my life.

I seriously think it is the stress talk, I am going to submit my file in a few minutes...*gan cheong!

How can they let a freshie like me audit such a huge company? Must have gone crazy! And it's so clean? No issues? Not even an adjustment? *Blink blink

Even the smaller companies have adjustment! I am seriously worried. If anything happens, I don't know how liable am I!!!

One Last Wish

If he'd ask me for one last wish before he leaves, I wish I had the courage to tell him that I wish I could have a chance to sit in his nice new car, go on a movie date, maybe plus dinner... for memories sake.

Sadly, it will never happen.

Will be staying in hotel next week, thus won't be having internet connection. No MSN, no blogging, no FB, no games, no nothing except WORK!!

As sad as it sounds, I hope that we will have time to bond during our stay. Seriously need to have a closer relationship with the gals that I see everyday and talk about other things OTHER THAN WORK!!!

I'm getting weaker and weaker, flu, cough, headache, all coming back due to the stress.

I wonder how boss figured out I am stressed out!! Is it REALLY THAT OBVIOUS from my face?? Gosh...doomed la...

Maybe he's worried that we'll resign...haha..

He OFFICIALLY did it again!!

Yeah, got the news from the man himself again. Dejavu it might be. But I am still sad. Obt tendered on Friday, 15 Apr 2010. His last day would be 14 May 2010. 5 June 2010 marks his 4th aniversary in EY. Gosh, time really does fly!

Next week we might be staying in hotel again to rush for the REIT project. Gosh, I can't imagine how much sleep I'd get from staying in the hotel. Although obt will be there, I doubt I'd be very much in the mood to 'hee-haa' with him since I'm so afraid that I'd get close to him and be even sadder when he leaves.

I am sad enough as it is. Losing so many seniors within such a short period really hits me hard. First GJ, then JD, then LKS, then Fiona, then Jolene, now obt. It's a wonder that we're still surviving!

I believe the juniors have been working very hard. Things must be extra hard on them since I had the priviledge of entering a little bit earlier. I am already feeling like drowning myself. The workload in unbelievable and the timeline is impossible.

Having the opportunity to audit SPYR sure did come as a surprise to me! However, I dread the results I'd produce. I think they expected too much out of me. I am afraid I will be unable to meet the targets. Things are suppose to end on 28 Apr 2010 but I highly doubt I'd be able to make it.

I wish I had the guts to admit that I used to have a crush on him. Haha, now I think its over. Not sure, no time to think about it. I figure I have to be prepared to be alone the minute I entered this profession.

Hope that this will be over soon. Need to get my life back and manage my weight. Its getting a little scary...

Record Set!!

On Saturday 27 March 2010, I worked from 3pm until 8am. That's a record!

Friday we went to Neway Cheras to celebrate obt's bday. All the way there! If it were someone else, they can jolly well forget about me joining the party.

Somehow I felt it was more like the royalties wanting to sing k, than obt. He's sick! Ah, but anyway, this is the so called office social circle. So be it.

If it were someone else, I'd wouldn't have created this record too. After the k session, we reached home around 3.30am. I was on MSN until abt 6am. Obt la! Ask me find song for him, finally got it, thn say take frm me ltr..Ish..Luckily was talking to kim too =)

Woke up at 2pm with a dead hp, only to realise that I have 9 miss calls! Panicked and quickly stumbled for my charger. It was my dear senior who was so worried I'd go off to office without reading fmf's sms! So sweet of her =)

Tot I didn't have to work. End up had to go help Jolene to do REIT. And my BU accountant wasn't there, and not answering his hp. Took quite a while to contact him, then to finalize figures.

Although I could already leave when my part was settled, I could not leave Jolene there alone! Same with Feli! So we stayed back and waited for her, thinking that worst come to worst also work 4am, as CPO kept mentioning.

Who knows, time wasn't on our side. By the time I finish discussing tax movement with CPO and walked out of the client's office, the sun was already shining! Totally freaked me out!

Never in my life I'd imagine that so early into my working life I'd be doing this, especially not on a weekend when I am suppose to get a life!

Gosh I think if it were other ppl, I would have left. *Shivers

Went to Sri Petaling to have 鸡窝包 sponsored by our dear Jolene.
That's why we like her. She doesn't treat us inferior to her or below her, but really as a team. Or maybe it is just her personality which makes people comfortable around her.

But we were willing to stay back. For her. Not for the breakkie =P Although we understand that's how she shows her appreciation. We'll miss her when she leaves.

It's so saddening that we're losing the good ones and left with the royalties....*Sad

How could I be fake yet real at the same time?
When I have to face the people that I have to protect myself against, but at the same time, I'm not that good of an actress...*Faint

Working in SMC is seriously wayyyy better as I get to learn more and am more motivated to work. I can manage late nights and actually found back the DRIVE!!

Seriously, this is what I meant when I say I don't mind the workload, but more of the people that bothers me. This actually proves it!

When you are working with nice people, people that you like, people that you can get along with, although there is the work stress and demanding workload, I really enjoy what I am doing and can handle the LONG HOURS!

But there just have to be people like SAM around to irritate me once in a while. Gosh!

Ok, I felt damn bad when fmf called and said we missed his actual bday, but we really didn't know and we actually already made plans to celebrate for him 2 days late! But we started making plans on Monday and although his bday was on Tues and no one knew...*Argh!

I placed the order at RT on Tues morn, and the cake has to be ordered 3 days in advance. Strawberry tart, the favourite among the royalties. But I have to admit, it's nice la..I mean, all RT cakes are!

It was suppose to be just the cake, then it was dinner, then lunch, then change back to dinner....

Anyway, we went to Wong Kok in Pyramid for dinner.

Damn that feller for acting like a stupid dumb ass!!

We were damn obvious, openly asking who's birthday is coming, because we could order the huge glass of 'ying yong'. We asked him point blank after he didn't response, to which he replied, 'Oh Kor Jor' (Pass already) wtf..

Then Jolene just shoot an even more blunt question, to ask for his IC. And he just threw it accross the table! Damn it, what kind of attitude is this?

Doesn't he know that we're trying our best to be nice to him? Albeit all our negativity towards him, we're not being biased! Even the clients complaint about him!

When the glass came, he wouldn't even take a picture with it, claiming that it's too embarassing. Omg...

After the dinner, the cake was served, he was like having his stupid 'beh song' face! Gosh I honestly felt like slapping the feller.

Ok, there was a slight mistake as in 24 candles were on the cake when he's only 22, but the waitress put it there, so can't blame us right??? It's normal to take extra candles, just in case anything happens right???

He wouldn't even cut the cake, but stuck the knife 90 degrees on the cake!! Oh GOSH!!!

This is the first time I really feel so unhappy celebrating birthday for someone...Why he makes things so unpleasant?? Why do people like this exist??

Gosh, after releasing all the above emotions, I hope I have balanced myself. I want to forget this unpleasant memory.

The dinner was weird, we laughed alot, but somehow conversation felt faked-out.

The gap between the team mates felt like being forcefully being narrowed. Although we talked and laughed, it felt more like a social event than a genuinely happy outing.

I hope that it was genuinely an innocent dinner session, with no grudges, no misunderstandings, no hidden wars.

But sadly, the real world isn't that way.

I was warned by Eva to stand up for myself. I sensed that there have been some backstabbings and there are misunderstandings about me. I tell myself I don't care, and try not to be bothered by it. They can think what they want to think, and I am tired of explaining myself all the time. It's not like they'd believe anyway.

I believe that if I am right, it will eventually show. Though it takes time to prove myself, I'd rather not be convincing people all the time. Just let it be. I am bogged down enough with work that I can't afford to waste time to think of all the politics. Let it be...

I believe Eva has her rationals, her points for advicing me to stand up for myself. But I think there are too many misunderstandings that I don't know where to start. Gosh...

Hands Patah-ing!!

The minute I reached home, Mom asked me for RM300 to employ a part-time maid.

She said that she's stressed out and Dad cannot be stressed due to his recent eye operation.

Well, I still think she brought stress to herself, by doing renovation at a time like this.

Dad's suppose to be recuperating, I'm at the peak-est season at work, and Sis..oh well...dissappeared to Pangkor at this stressful period.

Harlo, she's the one that chased the old maid away, insisted to send her home, and insisted that she didn't want to employ any more maids. Now? Keep ranting about having no maid for the past 3 years! WOMEN! Gosh...

Dinner time today was akward, plain weird, I should say. I can't blame Leonard for being so blur, Poor fellow is so sick! I saw him with Panadol and digestion pills, I felt so BAD for him!

Thank goodness we managed to get good food, though we might have been too obvious that we did not wish to dine in tension. Dinner at Ming Tien, with Jas, Eva and Jolene, was WAYYYY more relaxing!!

Somehow, the royalties had a misunderstanding again that I've made plans behind their backs and asked their Knight to check on me.

When he called and ask if everyone has agreed, I was baffled! I was like, HUH? WHAT EVERYONE? WHY is he asking me when majority people are there?? Gosh I hate office politics!

Can't these people get it in their thick brains that we're not against them, but merely DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE being with them? And what is the reason? Because they always make their own assumptions, because they always think they are one step ahead, because they always think they are RIGHT!

We're all humans, we have emotions, yeah, its a stressful period, so shouldn't we be more TOGETHER? The so-called team-work is more of an autocratic monopolistic rule which suffocates us.

I dread the day I have to return to their jurisdiction!

I believe in karma, so I know I might just get some nice punishment from God for all these bitching and anger. But I am human, after all....God have mercy on me!!

Renovation Again!!

Somehow I'm extra rajin to blog when it comes to renovation period...Hmm..Weird...

Anyway renovations started today, My windows are officially upgraded! WooHOO!!
I've finally done away with the traditional window panes that can be used to cut paper!!

Cough has been ongoing since before CNY until now. Gosh, really taking a toll on my health to work such long hours everyday. Hope I recover soon...

Am pretty happy to be at SMC cuz I'm away from all the office politics! And am glad to learn that I am not the one inviting 'hate' to myself..

Dinner yday was damn fun. Though we abandoned the royalties, but it was good to have a good laugh and release stress! I think the entire crowd at Old Town heard our laughters and must think we're damn noisy! Ah, but who cares! It's not like we have to jaga image, cuz we're not wearing our tags!! Bwahahaha!!

Dinner today was so-so. Apparently, bitching about people can be quite stressful too. On one hand, you're so afraid to say anything that might invite hatred to yourself. On the other hand, you really want to concur and share the same feeling with the rest. Hmm, the royalties sure are in trouble!

Speaking of the royalties, I have Grace darling to thank for being so creative! "Off with his head!" aptly reminds me of all the memories we had during Friday night, 12 March 2010, when we went bowling, and watched 3D Alice in the Wonderland. I miss those happy moments!!

Yeah, talking about Jimmy WYJ, the person everyone keep teasing about.

Somehow we hit off and became very 'ngam keng', so ppl started talking.

Whatever it is, he already has his other half.

The loss of so many colleagues in such a short notice really is mind boggling.

I mean, first gj, thn jd, thn lks, thn ftsy!

Then here came the secondees, first wyj, thn leonard, thn sheung kuen, thn Grace.

And now, there is a new joiner named Gary, which conquered my space and I have yet to get to know him!

Gosh, everything seems to be happening so fast.

Suddenly, it hits me on my face that my senior hates me, is bitching behind my back, and influencing someone else as well.

Suddenly I'm frequently having the visions of resigning, but haven't gotten around to do it, as my logical & sensible part of me still reigns!

I miss him, for being there for the past 6 weeks, for all the small things he's done, all the favours he's done, somehow I just can't thank him enough! She's lucky to have him, being so patience, sensitive and kind. Though he requested to transfer, I hope that he'd not regret...(If he is ever successful!)

I miss her, though she's only been here for 2 weeks, but the amount of laughter she brought, is more than we ever had! I hope to see her during ACCA graduation! Then again, it'll never be the same again.

Why do people come and go? What then is eternal? Why was even forever created when nothing lasts THAT LONG??

Happy Bday Lil Sis! She turns 19 today. What a long journey from her baby days! Its her last year of being a teenager, which officially should end in a few days.

I like hosting parties, bringing together a group of people and spending quality time with my loved ones. Seeing how everyone change through time, exchanging stories, playing with kids!

But the hard work behind it?? OMG... Drives ppl crazy. Especially when Mom insist of cleaning everything upside down as if it is CNY, she arranges and re-arranges! And the havoc? Whoa..like WW3...

Sis was out most of the time, running errands. Poor thing! Running around on her bday, no peace weih!!

We could have fed a battalion with that food. Everything was tasty, lovely and yummy!
The cake was American Cheese Cake from RT Pastry which was simply heavenly! Just like the Chocolate Log we got for Christmas...Simply delicious!!

The kids were wonderful! Xin was simply adorable! Ryan is as cute as ever! Though I didn't have much time to play with the kids, their presence made me feel so happy. Without a maid, there's certainly more work to do, more stuff to clean up, more dishes to wash.

Chan Ee redeemed a play train from Huggies using her points accumulated from buying pampers for Baby Ryan! Haha, the kids really enjoyed that! Xin was rushing through it at the same time with Han and both got stuck in the tunnel! Their height was just nice to stand inside the train and stick their heads out the window!

Xin was so loud when she fell down. I didn't see her but I heard her! Apparently she bumped her cheek as I saw a red mark on her chubby rosey cheeks! But she soon forgot about it and continued playing!

I wish I could spend more time with the kids. They grow so fast. Marcus is already so tall and now already know how to comb spike hair! Lol...Han is already Std 2!!

Sin Yeh kor announced his marriage next year! Gosh, so fast already?? Soon I'll have another niece/nephew from him!! I haven't seen his gf before. I wonder if we'll be close.

My only regret is we didn't manage to get a Group Pic. It is so rare that we get to gather so many of our relatives together. Takes so much of effort and time and opportunity, especially with everyone's busy schedule. I appreciate everyone's effort for coming over, making time to visit and getting us gifts. So thoughtful of them.

Christmas is over. I wonder how would the New Year be?

Before that, tmr I have stock take again..So not looking forward to it as I am down with flu...God help me...

Sad Christmas Eve

Thursday, which was Christmas eve, I was allowed to go off early, thus we went to church as a family. Everyone was so hungry as we went without dinner, thanks to the horrible traffic!!

I cried in church as we began service. I felt so sad to see our usual grand occasion being minimized into such a small scale event with so little ppl attending. The service was held at DH and it was a combined service yet the hall wasn't full.

Our normal huge singing Christmas tree did not exist and our talented people had to perform without a stage. I felt it did not do them justice and tears just kept rolling down my cheeks. I must have looked like an idiot with tears when people shook my hand and wished me Merry Christmas.

The presentation was damn good. Our singers were so powerful, the dancers so graceful but we couldn't see properly even though we were seated in the front. There wasn't any stage for them to perform, dancers were on the floor. Even with the help of cameras, the view wasn't that great.

The reason given by Senior Pastor wasn't too convincing. They say he was sued. They say he pilfered money. Whatever happened, God knows.

Service ended after 10pm. We finally had dinner at a restaurant in PJ. I paid this time as I had enough cash to do so. Sis took the change as her payment to wash the toilet.

Public Holiday - No holiday

Work is making me hate public holiday.

I was anticipating for this weekend, I had great plans, I had places to go, things to do!

Nicely got work dumped on me.

Good.

Trip cancelled. No mood to do anything.

Why give public holiday when we still have to work? Might as well get paid while working right?

I'd do charity for people that need them, not some huge firm which is profitable enough as it is!

Many people would be in the same dilemma as I am, but all we can do is just take it as it comes.

Went out yday with D and WY to sing k and watch New Moon.

Both are my besties but it is so seldom that 3 of us go out together. Somehow I think they felt weird, and I felt as if I had 2 wives, u know, like layan both sides... LOL

Luckily through the day they warmed up and began to talk.

Sing k was fun. It is really my best form for release. I can really feel myself being released from all my stress when I was singing!

God knows how silly I looked, but I am being myself in front of the people I am comfortable with!! They are the only ones I can trust enough to be myself in front of...

Movie was ok. Not so much of ROMANCE scenes as I would have loved. Edward is still as hot as ever!!

I have no feelings whatever for Jacob Black. So sorry. I know his body is deliciously buffed but...really no hots for the guy... Maybe a failure on his part to mesmerise me..HAHA

I wish there is such a real life 'Edward' for me...*Dreams....

We actually went yesterday after class to get the tickets, and we still had to sit apart.

To my best-est friend...Happy birthday dear!!

Don't think she has the time to read this yet, but she's been busy and so have I. We both have our own lives to live, and we seldom meet.

Initially we had lotsa wild plans in mind, wanted to do crazy stuff, but some how things got in the way. As much as I wish to have THAT MUCH of $$$ to pay for what she wants to do, I seriously can't afford it.

The most I could do was a karaoke session, and I'm not too sure if it was as great as the present she gave me this year! *Sobs I really lurv the gift!!!

She broke the glass..LOL..Didn't expect her clumsy side to emerge today. I was a glutton, having taken too much food that I couldn't stuff into me no matter how much I wanted to eat them! Mussels were great! Sushi so-so. D ate SO LITTLE, it's obvious why she's slimmer than me..HAHA

Hope she enjoyed it. I was DAMN LATE, I feel so bad letting her wait alone. We were tired from work and asgmts, too exhausted to go crazy. Feel so bad that her bday was spent like that...

Dearest D, don't know what I'll do without her...She's the one I know that will ALWAYS be by my side, always ready to listen to me babble on and on and ON!!! Seriously I can go on quite LONG...

Gosh I'll NEVER forget that time when she told me she had appendix and was admitted into hospital. Freaked the shit out of me! I rushed back from Sg Long because I just HAD TO HAD TO see her with my own eyes! She vomit I also vomit...Lousy la...

We go way back...we met during Tadika Alpha but weren't friends. We went to primary school that were neighbours but never crossed paths. Only in secondary school we became friends and were inseperable since then....

I pray we'll last forever, til the day SHE gets married and have kids, I'd probably be some immature and cool aunty that gives BAD influence to her children, and drives her nuts in the process!!

Apparently Ob got influenced by our Director and is reconsidering his resignation. As much as I do not want him to resign, I think it's a better world out there. Seriously we should try more things when we are young, right? Who knows tommorrow we're dead and we carry loads of regrets for all the WHAT IFs we wished we did???

Anyway he said something that made me smile...refer to pic below...

Don't know if he meant it but it still made me SMILE like a donkey!!

He normally doesn't flirt, and talks very very little...as can be seen from the conversation, I type like few lines of purple before he replies one in black!!

I've been doing stat audit in Sunway since 1st Sept, Tues-Fri and then this week again Tues-Fri.

I think it's driving me nuts, giving me a headache and helping me gain weight as I SIT ALL DAY, typing non-stop!

Even lunchtime, because I'm alone, I do NOT fancy sitting alone in the cafeteria, watching everyone around me chattering away! So I buy back a lunch box and watch MammaMia alone in that sad meeting room all by myself.

Only today, parents came and find me during lunch as they wanted me to open a bank account. It's the only day I didn't eat alone. HAHA.

Working alone has its pros and cons. It's good that I have freedom to do whatever I want, eat whenever I want, work however I want, without any seniors breathing down my neck. And I'm less tensed without them around too.

Sad thing is I do not talk all day and I tend to get restless because I like to talk sometimes...

Anyway working alone is still better I guess...After all, I'm free to do what I like :)

I slept through countdown, slept at 7pm woke up at 1.30am this morning.

I guess this shows how tired I am, or how piggy I am! Lol

Started my day nice by chatting with Ob on MSN. Still feeling very sad that he's leaving. It's something I can't control.

Slept a while after I watched D.I.E. then left for gym. Guess the entire holidays were mainly used for sleeping and gym. Really isn't the best way to spent precious holiday time. Didn't go out with friends at all. except for Friday night when me and WY met up with Joo for a chat at Asia Cafe.

There are so many things that I would have liked to do, sing k, shopping, having a fun day out, but all these aren't fun to be done alone. I hate the feeling of asking people out and then get rejected and worst still knowing that they already have plans and did not bother to include me. And then when I happen to ak them out, that is when they ask me out of courtesy. No thanks. I'd rather stay at home.

Feeling hungry already. Only had bread and sausages today. Haih.

I just got to know last night that Ob tendered. No one told me! I had to hear it from the man himself.

Sad. No more chances to work with him. No more possibilities of getting to know him better. No more nice senior :(

I contemplated to ask him out, but I lacked courage. I was considering not going for his farewell, lest I cry. I feel something is lost, but I don't know why is this small thing affecting me so significantly. Is he really that important? I'm not sure.

I only know it's all one-sided, for now.

I always wait for him to online, wanting to talk to him, although he can sometimes be terribly boring to chat with, especially when he gives his one worded responses. Albeit that, he's really a good listener. And I get very happy when he initiates the chat, when he tells me stuff, when he makes me laugh! :)

Guess all these are signs of a lonely person. Gosh..Off to the gym...Need to clear my mind...

Last week was hectic. Had training whole week. Despite that, I had to work OT for my S2.

Monday she said she wanted to submit the file. Asked me to stay back after training to work. Stayed until 11++. Skipped dinner. Yet could not finish as her instructions were pretty vague. Went home and continued til 2am. Came home and ate Maggi, which was tasteless since I wasn't in the mood to enjoy it.

Tues again she asked me to stay back after training. I asked her if I could do it over lunch. She said NO. I was willing to sacrifice my lunch hour. She doesn't understand that I stay quite a distance from office, and I have to wake up so much more earlier than her, and I am also in training. Physically exhausted. Stayed til 12 and went home continue working til 2.30. All for charity. No OT claims.

Wed she sent me a corrupted file asking me to recover it for her. It was an incompleted 'U' section. If she said she wanted to submit file on Monday, made me rush through my work til late nights, and still have an incompleted section...Isn't she lying? I copied out the worksheets and it corrupted again. I worked from a previously saved version and it corrupted again.

In the end I re-typed the entire file word by word. Until 3am++ and still I couldn't finish.

Thurs I continued typing it until 2am+. I didn't have time to study for my training test the next day. She keeps telling me I do not have to study. I wasn't able to pay attention during training as I was so sleepy. I was so worried myself. I mean, what's the point of attending training if I did not absorb what was taught?

Fri, good thing she's on leave. No work for me. But being exhausted, I slept.

Sat, slept the whole day after I came back from Wenn's. At night, went to Starbucks with Dad, Mom and Sis. First family outing for coffee. Haha. Weird but it felt good. I know not many families do stuff together. And not many people are so lucky to stay with their parents. Although they can sometimes be a pain, I thank God for them.

Today the chinese guy that sat opposite me is sitting behind me. He's a S2 like jc, I still don't know his name. But he's ok looking. He plays in a band. (yeah, I overheard his hp talk!)

Musically-inclined guys never failed to get my attention. Either they can sing or play. :( My weakness!

Someone commented that my blog posts are too dreamy..but I am dreamy! It's me! How can I change my style!?! If I can't even be MYSELF in my own blog, it doesn't really serve a purpose to me, right?

It kinda keeps me sane at work!

Oh well, I spotted jc again. This time I double looked and confirmed.

But then, again I couldn't spot whr was he sitting although I scanned through the entire office TWICE on my way to the loo!

Ltr in the day, I found out actually he had in-house training. Ceh...No wonder keeps disappearing!!

Oo, he put his stuff beside me! Is he really going to sit near me? I can't help smiling to myself :) Dumb gal!! Get a grip of yourself!

Oh, he initiated the conversation. Ask me why still don't want to go back. Then he disappeared for so long. Went into the director's room, which I found out later, when I had to go in to file something. Kan cheong-ness...Because he could see my back and I couldn't see him!!

Later in the evening, he say why am I not going home when my boss is no longer around? I didn't know who was he referring to. Until I realized my senior already left for dinner and did not tell me. I also had to find out from other ppl that she's on leave tmr. Great. Now she no longer tells me stuff. Only that a1 told me she's on leave, which was very nice of her.

He kept on asking me to go home. Then I realised why. ChiaYee was sitting opposite him. And he was engaged in conversation with her. I guess it's pretty obvious. LOL. Wokayz. I shall disappear and let them have fun.

Going home to watch Burning Flame III!! At least there are hot guys there all to myself.

Btw, Happy Bday to VS :) She's 22 today :) And I missed her bday celebration yday cuz I was rushing home to have dinner with family..Apparently I missed alot :) Things always seems fun when I'm not around :( Maybe jc was there celebrating with her too. I didn't dare ask. Lucky girl :) Hope she's happy :)

I don't know why do I get the feeling that lhs is hinting something on 'jie di lian', he keeps making moves that I pretend I don't see because..u know..I don't want to...Maybe it's the kampai...

But thanks to lhs for sending me home. I think he drove a Honda? Toyota? Vios? I don't know what car I sat in... LOL

Today entered office again.

I think it's going to break my record for most days in office in a week. LOL

Today is good because there's someone beside me. At least I don't feel so lonely.

Hope I won't have to eat lunch alone again like yday.

And my senior requests for the exact same cap to be returned to her. Saying that it costs more than the RM50 we compensated to her. Oh well, we auditors don't have much time for shopping, but I feel bad owing her something.

I hope this matter can be resolved ASAP as I DO NOT LIKE OWING people anything! I don't think it is a very nice courtesy to keep owing people stuff.

Sometimes I just wish I can't have emotions, or maybe I'm too sensitive, paranoid, whatever..

I got offended when my A1 kept bombarding me with questions she know I don't have the answers to. After I stayed back late, endangered my life walking on the road late at night, I really do not appreciate this kind of treatment. Really a bomb through my ego.

How will I know if client can give me the documents I need? If I need the documents,surely I'll have to wait right? If client cnt provide me with the document I need, is it my fault? How would I know if they will not co-operate? Oh gosh... I'm not GOD. I can't guarantee anything.

So regret rushing the job. Should have just gone home and relax.

The S2 is ignoring me. I think she's mad at me. How not to feel it when she replies the msg of Bon and not me? Isn't it plain obvious or am I too sensitive? I really don't think so.

After all the time spent together, I thought only of the good sides of people. I try not to think badly of ppl unless it's damn obvious. Looks like I need to re-think the relationship.

Really hate office politics. Ppl can be so fake. Nice one minute, then give you the cold shoulder the next second. Really think humans are scary species.

At times like this, I really wish I felt no emotions. Now I know why auditors don't smile anymore.

Group Trip to Bukit Merah Laketown

Trip was ok. Going with colleagues is always weird. Don't feel like documenting the entire trip now. But just to list down some occurences.

1st time danced tango with someone I barely know

1st time slept so close distance with a drunk guy. LOL don't go so far. Different beds.

1st time got grabbed at the waist so many times in one night by the same guy who is also a didi.

Someone laid his head on my shoulders, albeit he was drunk.

Explorace was so-so. PlayVillage does things in a much more exciting manner.

Lost at Heart Atk. Supposed to drink 2 cups on the rock, and I don't even know what is that, asked GJC to help 1 shot and he agreed, but in the end it didn't happen.

So tempted to get myself drunk but didn't manage to although I thought I did drink alot.

Felt lonely although there were many people around me.

I think I'm getting depressed. Oh wait, maybe I'm already...wtf

Due to last minute changes in plan, I’m in office today. I have work to do, but it isn’t that rushed. So since I didn’t have any deadline, I did my Web-Based Learning online.

Read through all the notes, all the lessons, and completed them. Scored a 90%. Phew! If I scored less than 70%, I’d failed the session!!!

I think it was the Char Siew Pau I ate this morning. Caused me terrible stomach pain. Very uncomfortable.

Plus he only said one sentence to me. I think that sort of contributed to the bad mood.

Anyway, it’s a moody day.

Awaiting tonight, to spend time doing something I hope I enjoy doing.

Supposed to wake up early to go to the bank but I couldn't do so because I'm so sleepy!

Woke up arnd 9.45am and then started to save pics from Wenn's fb to make her present. Was chatting with OBT while doing that until 10.30pm when he decided to leave and I started getting rdy @@ HAHA

I was late due to the traffic jam, and it's amazing that TMX left later than me but managed to arrive earlier than me. LOL. Since it was a farewell for someone I don't even know, I didn't dare to enter the room first, lest it got akward. So I waited for TMX to come. But maybe because I was reading the magazine, she didn't notice me. OBT also did not reply my msg :(

Whoa, I didn't know OBT could sing so well! He sang Lam Fung's song, and I was mesmerized. Officially in love with his voice la :( Seldom find guys that can sing so well right?? TMX's voice was a killer! So nice too! Wah, tension sia @@ I think I killed a few chickens that day. Didn't really sing that well because I was too nervous. HEY I felt shy mahhh!!

The session was ok. Wasn't introduced until the end of the session. But I didn't have a chance to talk to them because I had to go get Wenn's present. Went to MPH to get a nice Winnie the Pooh scrapbook then went to a photo shop to develop the pictures. But found out that due to the reduced file size, the pics won't be nice to develop. Had to cancel the scrapbook idea.

In the end, I bought a box and put in lotsa small small stuff.
-Dolphin keychain that could squeak!
-Light panel for night reading
-Liquid wax for her to sign on her paintings
-Handcraft "My Room" tag, which I thought was pretty neat!

Not cheap ok! But it was a love package to my dear little girl, whom I sayang dearly! :)

Went home and took Sis out for Secret Recipe because I was so hungry! Suppose to eat during K session, but I ordered salad because I didn't want to make a mess. Then I dropped my fork on the floor @@ Adoii..Dear OBT was so sweet to get me another one, but I already finished all the Salmon and didn't feel like digging into the pile of veggies there..

Ate Tom Yum Noodles which was damn nice! Sis took the Vietnamese Beef Noodles, which wasn't up to our expectations. We expected better ok! RM 15.5 for a bowl of tasteless noodles was terrible! Greedy me even ordered a cheesecake and orea milkshake. HAHA. End up, we couldn't finish our food. Sat there for 2 hours trying to stuff it down :(

Went to Body Shop to get Sis's eye serum. Then went hom to wrap present before going to party. Was talking to OBT as well. He made me laugh la, so funny. Say what next time want to kill chicken, call him also, cuz he also got the skill to kill chicken... WAHAHA and he puji me smr! Say I 'sang so well'..Adoii kembang siaaaa

Party was good, too much food, spoilt for choice. Chatted the whole night with Mrs Lim's daughter, Sin Yi. She's taking F7, F8, F9, and she aims to enter EY. So naturally I had lots to share. I was babbling non-stop the whole night. HAHA

Came back and MSN with OBT again. But he wasn't concentrating cuz he was watching Burning Flame 3. He ady got it from TMX. Suan le. I entertain Kel instead. Poor feller, I haven't had time to spend with him. Slept at 2am.

First Day in EY

Nervous as I was, I was terrified as well, because I didn’t know anyone that would be joining together with me. I really do not like the feeling of being a stranger in a place, and I worried badly if I would fit into this corporate world.

Many thoughts ran through my mind on my way to office. Most of it consists of unanswered questions, and it all surfaced repeatedly in my mind during the drive.

When I reached office, I was early, around 8am. Dad was very sweet to wake up on my first day of work, wishing me luck. He even gave me a red packet the night before, hehe J

I walked into the reception at Level 23A, and saw a lot of people already sitting around. There were some already talking amongst themselves. I sat on the single sofa facing 2 girls, and although one smiled at me, they did not make any initiative to start talking. Feeling very nervous, I didn’t know what to say to them as well. Since I didn’t feel like talking, I resorted to sms-ing my daddy and my best friend, D.

It wasn’t a very smart thing to do, as more people walked in, they got to know each other. My heart longed to be among them, talking and laughing. But I was shy, I hoped that someone would take the initiative. I was staring at this girl, whom I think I recognize from Sunway, but of course, she was busy chatting away, and I was waiting for a chance to leisurely speak to her..HAHA

Finally I summoned up enough courage to speak to her. Her name was Bourdini, very nice girl :)

Time flies when I chat @@ Few minutes later, the HR staff took us into the training room to start our briefing. And there we were stuck from morning till evening!

Good thing they provided lunch! And morning tea-break! And afternoon tea-break! HAHA

A Cut Above Academy

I went for rebonding and a trim today at A Cut Above Academy.

D advised against having students fiddle with the hair incase they make a mess.

But I always had good experiences with students as they tend to be more careful, albeit a little slower. I don't mind the slow-ness, as long as they do a good job.

It costed me RM160, and I consider it cheap for a rebonding!

Although the guy student ( Yi Xin, I think that's his name) spilt some 'Neutraliser' on my eyes, he was cute and having a flu. So he's forgiven. Heh.

The girl student, Kimi, seems more experienced, and she's s a pretty girl with nice complexion!

Thanks to their sifu, Skit, who kept a close watch, my hair turned out quite alright!

But I can't wash it for 3 days. Arghh..Can't stand not washing my hair!

I figure all had too much stress bottled up inside.

Working life really is stressful, no matter how much fun it is. The element of stress is always there!!

Suppose to go Grandma's place to overnight, but went to meet the relatives for dinner first.

Ughh..hated to meet them so much! I was so full of anger when I knew the true story behind their visit. Hate to bitch about my own relatives, but they are really to much!!

Tuesday 9th June, I went down to Setapak with Dad to send over our small TV because cousin Ah Xian called and said she came down from Sandakan to accompany her 19 year old daughter who is studying in TARC. Dad so rajin, check the map, and found the place. It was actually near the Wangsa Maju LRT station, my old morning breakfast haunts with HP, hehe!

We fixed up the TV for them but we forgot the remote, so Dad say will bring it to them another day when we are free. We had to go back as Dad had to go to the hospital to take care of Grandma. THE INCONSIDERATE Cousin asked if we ate already, we said YES, BUT she say they haven't eaten, so Dad, being nice, offered to fetch them out for lunch.

When we reached the place, it was like 'zhap fan' except that it was noodles and assorted meat, without vege @@ But they had 'tong sui'. Cousin ordered what she wanted, and went to sit. I ordered something to share with Dad and paid her bill. She didn't say THANKS at all!!!

Halfway eating, her 5 years old girl, Janice, threw a tantrum, didn't want to eat bihun, so Cousin went to order another 'tong sui' for her, took another for her other daughter, Peng Yee and Dad paid the bill. Since they couldn't finish the bihun, they 'tabao' it back.

Then we fetch them to go refill water from the RO Machine. They didn't even have enough coins and asked for 10cents extra. Then we sent them home.

That night, 3rd uncle called and told us the story behind this relative SUDDENLY calling my Dad. Actually, her husband borrowed from loan sharks. I don't know how much but I figure it must be serious for her to come all the way to KL. Weird though, as she can still spend few thousand for her little girl to attend kindergarten here, paying around RM400++ per month.

Yesterday, Dad received an sms from Cousin, she mentioned she was coming. I told Dad to ask her not to come, I didn't want to see her. But apparently Dad didn't do that! Grr

During karaoke session, Sis sms say Dad ask if should bring them to 1Utama or Sunway Pyramid. Hey! My Dad didn't even bring us as a family to 1Utama and we only went to Pyramid as family less than 10 times our entire lives! (Mostly we go with friends or alone!)

I replied and said I don't want to see them in 1U, bring them to Parade or whatever! (I'm mean, I know that!)

That night, Dad asked to go out dinner with them. I didn't want to at first, but I was thinking, What a waste, they get to eat good food and I'm not there? So I went although I wasn't THAT hungry. And that really got me madder and madder!! GRR!!

Dad asked if they eat spicy food, they say NOT REALLY, but can order, it's ok! So Dad ordered 'Kam Hiong Chicken', 'Jiong Zheng Fish', 'MalaiZhan Vege', 'Choi Dam', 'Claypot Tauhu'.

They didn't touch the 1st 3 dishes that had chili in it, although it wasn't spicy at all. Wtf, Dad did ask if they eat right? Okay, Nevermind. They played around with their food, eating white rice and showing faces. Cousin had almost half a plate of rice that she didn't eat. Then Dad, being the nice guy that he is, asked if they wanted to add another dish. I said NO I'M VERY FULL, SO IS EVERYONE ELSE.

BUT Dad insisted and ordered Sweet Sour Sotong. FINE. Dish came, and they didn't eat, complaining that the sotong was too rubbery! (=.='") Is this how you treat your host? Okay..FINE..So we had to finish up that dish. HECK I WAS BURSTING ALREADY!! Never in my life we ordered so much food for dinner until we couldn't finish it! Damn wasteful! Grr!!

Then since the 5 years old girl slept all through dinner and her Mom didn't want to wake her up, Dad asked if she'll be hungry, offered to 'tabao'. Cousin immediately said YES and started to describe some noodles called 'Sap Chao Mien'. God knows what is that. In the end, we ordered something, I forgot what, because she kept saying NO NOT THIS, NO NOT THAT...Gahhh

Later, Dad send them all the way back to Setapak because he said that the little girl is sleeping, it is inconvenient for them to take the train. WTF why is my Dad such a nice guy?

Later I found out that Dad treated them to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng for lunch. Heck, my Dad only treated us ONCE and that was in Batu Pahat where we didn't have much choices and were so hungry!

I swear I'm so pissed at having such relatives that can take so much advantage of us and so thick face. Never once I heard them saying THANK YOU. Only COMPLAINS about the food, never paying for their OWN food, eat and TABAO food...Gosh..Have they ever thought of the day they will have no money to eat because the loan sharks are hunting them down? Will they still be so choosy?

As for my Dad, I don't know what to say...I have a feeling he's going to lend them money if they ask for it although my 3rd uncle specifically told him not to do so...
ARGH!! FRUSTRATING!!!

Grandma has been discharged at Noon today, as far as I heard from MOM.

I was in a groggy state because I only managed to sleep after 7am.

Will get more updates when Mom wakes up. I heard her saying that she didn't sleep all night too!

The stress of taking care of Grandma is taking a toll on Mom..

I hope Mom stays strong!!

Pneumonia

Grandma was diagnosed with Pneumonia today.

It seems that her excessive coughing has caused her lung to develop an infection.

Initially she wanted to be discharged already since she could pass motion as normal.

She insist that she did not need any help from the nurses and all.

She even said that MOM was going to take her for a morning walk.

Poor Grandma, she hasn't gone out for 10 days now. All days long in the hospital, boring right??

God, I hope she recovers soon.

Hospital is torturing for the old lady.

Off Duty

I offered to stay in the hospital again as I know MOM did not get a good night sleep when she stayed there last night.

I came back after work and Mom went to the hospital first, I said I'll come later after I have my dinner.

But then Mom called and said I did not have to go as Grandma wanted to sit on the chair, so Mom got to sleep on the bed. I panicked when I heard that as a patient should not be sitting up whole night!

Grandma complained that her back ached after sleeping on the bed for so long. But the hospital bed can be adjusted to sitting position. I worry that she's just saying that so that Mom would sleep on the bed comfortably.

See, my Grandma is like this, always ever-sacrificing for the people she love.

I don't know what is going on in the hospital now. Whether my Mom is sound asleep on the bed while Grandma is sitting up whole night.

What if the nurse injects Mom by mistake while she's sleeping on the bed? HAHA

I seriously hope that Mom don't fall asleep and leave Grandma wandering about...

It is now 6am, 10th June, and I am awake.

I should be the one sitting up whole night. I can take it. I don't mind staying awake whole night...

Should I have insisted?

One Night In The Hospital

Grandma is out of ICU on 6th June, Sunday, due to her stable condition. But they advised that someone stay with her 24 hours in the normal ward. So I offered, since Mom was very tired. She's been taking care of Grandma, and I can see dark circles forming under her eyes. Since my exams are over, I thought I should contribute.

Hey, she's my grandma too!

I came with Sis, at around 9pm, and stayed til 9am the next morning. Sis left at 11pm because she had class on Monday. Lucky SJMC had WIFI, so I could entertain myself. I had no trouble staying awake as I have been sleeping at 7am when I was studying for my paper.

Grandma tried to keep me entertained. She on the tv, talked about the table tennis game going on. I used the notebook to talk to her, but the ink of the marker smelt really bad, so I didn't want to write much, lest it affect her breathing.

She thought I was working on the laptop, and scolded me, asking me to go to sleep. I obliged as I didn't want to worry her, she waved her hand at me so many times, I was worried I'd drive her blood pressure up.

I turned off the lights and pretended to sleep. She can't see my face as I lean back on the chair. But I had the laptop on, as I was trying to watch a movie online. I put the laptop on the cupboard so that she can't see it on my lap.

Grandma was fidgety, she kept moving, and the machine beeped a few times as the liquid transfusion stopped. I panicked each time it beeped as I was terrified something will happen to her. Well, she just came out if ICU, so it doesn't hurt to be extra careful.

I offed the laptop when I gave up trying to load the movie. I sat there, letting my thoughts wander.

Suddenly around 4am, the machine beeped. I thought she was fast asleep, but she was moving. I jumped up and checked her arm. I touched it and felt something wet. I looked at my fingers and I saw....BLOOD....

I rushed out of the room, calling the nurse, in panic. I was terrified of blood! We went back into the room and saw that her arm support was full of blood, the lining soaked, the sheets, blanket, everything was red in blood. I couldn't get the image out of my mind.

I knew I was afraid of blood, but I never saw so much in my life.

I stood by her bed as the nurses replaced her dressing. My knees were shaking, my tummy had cramps, my arms were shaking. My teeth were chattering, grinding, and I couldn't talk without stammering and stuttering. I tried to get a grip of myself as I held the bed handles tightly, frozen to my spot.

The nurses said it happens, and asked if she felt pain, but she said she didn't realise and did not feel pain at all. I blame myself for being SO careless. She has been coughing all night and moving alot. I should have kept a closer watch on her.

Hey, that was what I was there for, right? And I did not serve my purpose.

After that, I checked on her arm constantly, made sure that it is always straight. Her hand goes numb if she doesn't move it, so I massage it sometimes. She did not manage to sleep well, as the nurses came in at 6am to give her medication. It was to prevent vomitting, and also antibiotics on drips. This time, she watched her arm and mentioned that it was wet, as the drip was not working well. The nurse say that it happens, and will change her dressing and lining after the antibiotics finish.

At around 7am, Grandma had her milo, drank it through the straw and then she fell asleep. She did not sleep the whole night and I know she is very tired. Even when the doctor came in to take her blood, she did not wake up.

Around 8am, the student nurses came in to take her blood pressure and perform the observation. She winced in pain when they took her blood pressure but did not wake up. She was very tired.

I let her sleep, closed the curtains and waited for MOM to come. She said she would set her alarm at 7.30am, so I was expecting her anytime. She came at 8.30am, and I left after briefing her on what happened. Dad was waiting to fetch me home.

I went home and sleep from 10am-5pm and had to wake up to go to work. I don't think I will forget this experience.

2nd Visit To The Hospital

Today I brought a notebook and a pen so that I could write what we had to say, and so Grandma can read.

We tried to entertain her, as it is really depressing in the ICU, being alone and watched and hooked up to so many machines, and taking medications at all times.

She laughed a little too hard and her machine started beeping, causing us alarm as I didn't know what that meant. Lucky the nurse said that it was just a limit they set to monitor her heart beat. Any higher or lower and the machine will start beeping.

Phew, at least they are watching over her properly. She is worried about the cost of the operation and the cost of her stay. She kept reminding us that her operation cost RM20k, pointing at the area where she was operated.

In the ICU, there are no windows, so she doesn't know if its day or night.

What a gloomy place.

Due to my exams, I haven't had a chance to visit Wai Po in the hospital. I know my parents didn't want to worry me, and I appreciate them for that.

I saw Wai Po in ICU last night after I came back from my exam.

Definitely not what I was prepared for.

The old lady lying there, with the oxygen mask, confined in bed, trying her best to show us she's ok when she's not...

She did not have her earpiece on, so she could not hear us. Although she tried very hard to read our lips, it is difficult. I had an idea that I will bring a notebook and pen tomorrow and write down what we have to say so that she can communicate with us. She is still groggy today.

She's suffering, and I can't sleep.

One reason is because of how badly I did in my paper.

Another is because I keep thinking of her waving ''Bye" at me when we were leaving. I could not get the image of her lying there out of my mind, and it disturbs me terribly.

Its really a good thing that I did not see her prior to my exams or I would not have been able to concentrate at all. All I have been told were updated on her condition.

Admitted last Sunday, 31st May 2009, after 5 days unable to pass motion.

1st June, Monday, her x-ray showed that she had a twisted colon, which is the cause of her being unable to pass motion. The result? Her colon enlarged to 14cm in diameters, becoming a MEGA colon.

Imagine that? She has been unable to sleep due to her MEGA colon, causing her much discomfort. She was sleeping in a sitting down position for 2 nights, after the laxatives she took didn't work. She was brought to the GP 3 times and her condition did not improve. She did not inform us about her condition until Sunday...

Her condition is called "Sigmoid volvulus" and according to Wikipedia, Sigmoid volvulus is the most common form of volvulus of the gastrointestinal tract, and this condition is responsible for 8% of all intestinal obstructions. Sigmoid volvulus is particularly common in elderly persons. Patients present with abdominal pain, distention, and absolute constipation. Predisposing factors to sigmoid volvulus include chronic constipation, megacolon, and an excessively mobile colon. Plain abdominal radiograph findings are usually diagnostic. Decompression may be achieved with the introduction of a stiff tube per the rectum, aided by endoscopy or fluoroscopy. Early radiographic recognition is important to prevent the mortality related to sigmoid volvulus.

So that's what the doctor did. Used a stethoscope and straighten the colon so she can release her long due deposits. But that did not solve the problem, as her colon was badly twisted and enlarged.

They decided to do an operation to remove the enlarged part, which was about 12 inches in length. It was scheduled on 4th June, 1.30pm. Its called the keyhole operation. They had to put her under general anesthetic. I don't know how long the operation took. I wasn't informed.

Later on, I got to know that her heart stopped 3 or 4 times!!!

10pm - 5am of 5th June, after that only her heart stablized and they monitored her in ICU.

Its scary to think of it, really, as I think of doctors resuscitating her time and again.

They could not explain why her heart stopped, maybe due to her old age, 80 years old woman, can't take the toll the operation caused her fragile body.

To think that she was fighting for her life just few hours before my exam, and how awake is she when I visited her at 10pm, 5th June, it really disturbs me...

God I pray for her speedy recovery...

I never watched this cartoon, so I don't know the characters in it, and what's the story all about.

Just that, today, as I walked into my house, I saw someone lying on the sofa with a DIGIMON comic covering the face...

1st thought, must be my nephew, who came over after he complained headache in school. Don't know whether it's ac excuse to ponteng or what...

But he was beside that sleeping person, giving me a cheeky smile on his face!!

Aircond Flap

Its really frustrating that every time I want to turn on my aircond, I've gotta jump onto my bed and pull the flap open!! The mechanism that is supposed to make it open by itself isn't working! Gah! Got the aircond repaired for like RM250, but I didn't get him to fix the flap. Now everytime before I go to sleep, I pull open the flap first, because I know I'd wake up sweating in the morning and on the aircond! So I off it before I sleep and pull open the flap @@ So mafan right!!

Ok, aircond flap was really just an excuse. I really need to vend my emo, but I didn't feel nice blogging about it because people read it. Then again, if I can't be honest with my friends, who else can I trust?

I feel used. I don't know if its because I'm so easy-going, but I tend to give in, I'm a YES person. It's very seldom that I reject people unless I really don't care about that thing, or person, or REALLY in a BAD mood.

But usually, I'll say YES if I can help in whatever ways possible. Don't mean to sound like an angel or what. But I think that it's gotten people to take advantage of me. I find myself saying YES to things that are so......

Haih I want to help, I really want to, but sometimes it feels like they do not deserve it. Then again, I see it from a different perspective and I feel sorry, and its okay to help.

I know this is gonna hurt, but you only MSN me when you need to use me now, only sms or call me when you need to, and it makes me feel sad that at other times, I'm not useful or worthy for your time. As a friend, I'm glad that you think of me in time of need, and I know that you are not doing this on purpose, but I'm also human, I have feelings too...

FYI, I'm not only referring to one person.

I am willing to help, but you took the opportunity too far. Asking for too much. Don't you realise I'm doing you a favour? But I get treated as though its just OH SO NATURAL that I should do stuff for you. I felt as if I owed you, and it sure didn't feel good. I know that you appreciate what I do, and I hope so too.

I have to lie to help. Why is it so? I personally hate to lie unless I really have to. My tendancy to tell the truth often get me into trouble, and sometimes lying is really a better way out. But if I don't lie, I definitely won't be of any help. I hope GOD will forgive me.

I thought of locking up my blog, only allowing certain readers. But I do not give this blog out to many people, only those that I trust. I trust that those who read it will forgive me for being so 'emo' here. I need to be honest, and I'm too lazy to WRITE a diary.

I treasure the friendship more than anything else, it's all I have. It means alot to me, but it isn't providing me with the emotional food I am terribly deprived of. I don't know what is lacking, but it's making me very sad...very sad indeed...

I passed my 1st interview with Jocelyn on 14th May 2009, 10am.

2nd interview on 20th May with Soo Fern.

Got a call on 20th May around 6.50pm from Samantha confirming my offer.

Received my offer letter on 22nd May. Signed and mailed back duplicate on 24th May. I emailed Jocelyn, but I didn't receive a reply yet.

This is basically how I got employed...

I'll be starting on 6th July 2009. Wonder how would it be like?

No time to think of it now as I have to focus on P5 again...Pressure's coming through...No room for failure...

Been trying to study, really! But somehow, somewhere, I don't feel okay. It feels like somewhere is empty, or numb, I feel as if I lost myself somewhere along the way since I started ACCA. I'm anti-social, I have less friends, go out less often, stay at home all the time!!

I figured its the sign that I'm getting older...Is that it? People get more boring as they mature?

I just told Wenn I never dated, and she rolled her eyes in disbelief. Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with me. It's not like I don't want to, maybe it's just not meant to be. I'll be fine on my own, more freedom, right? HAHA

I'll try to study a little bit more before I go to sleep. This was a crappy post...must be the midnight blues..Toodles!!

Woke up at 9am when I was suppose to wake up at 7.30am. I guess early mornings just never agree with me anymore.

Went to PWTC with WY. Packed to the brim with jobless people and fresh grads. Oh my, what a scene! Imagine 500++ booths crammed in a hall with a crowd walking shoulder-to-shoulder!! Nightmare!

Escaped at 1.45pm to eat KFC! Yummy! Rested badly hurt legs from terribly unconfortable shoes! *Sobs

Went to KLCC to shop for shoes and books. Me is HAPPY! Know why??

Walked into Vincci and tried out numerous pairs of shoes! 50%, 20%, can't really resist trying on, right???

Disappointments came one after another as:

Sizes did not fit, it was the last pair,

The colour wasn't right,

It didn't look nice on my fugly feet...

Then..Ta da!!

Found the perfect black pair of formal heels which cost RM79. With PMC card, I get 20%, so it was reduced to RM 63.20. I won RM50 Vincci voucher from CLEO, and received RM10 voucher from my PMC card usage last year...

All and all, my nice pair of heels only costed me RM 3.20 @@

Super pleased with myself as I went to Kinokuniya to search for books for my student. Major disappointment again as such a huge bookstore do not have international syllabus books! Gah!!

Waited till 7pm for parents to pick me and we went to Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate Mom's birthday. Our server was Chester, a super cwazee funny guy that took our pics with a drama!! Our next table Ang Mo was chiding Dad for not smiling, says he needs to smile more! HAHA!!

Meal was great!!

Appetizer : Jumbo Combo (Onion Rings, Chicken Tenders, Spring Rolls, Chicken Wings, Salad, With 4 sauces, including Blue Cheese, Salad Cream, Tomato, and another White Cream which I can't figure out)

Entree 1: Grilled Salmon Steak, which is the favourite of both parents while me and sis shunned away from it

Entree 2: Trio Combo, Beef Ribs, Beef Briskets, and BBQ Chicken. Side Order: Baked Beans and Coleslaw. Attacked by all!!

After paying parking of RM8 ( So darn expensive to park at Concorde Hotel), we left for home.

Halfway through, we decided to pay a visit to little Ryan. He's 4 days old and I haven't seen him with his eyes open!

Seems that he's giving his parents a hard time, keeping them awake whole night!! Welcome to the world of parenting! Haha!

Baby was fast asleep. We tried to wake him for more than an hour, but with no avail. He'd entertain us by trying to open his eyes, then a fraction of a second later, he's fast asleep again! Great actor there!

He'd stretch and yawn and pretend to be on the verge of waking up, but not once did he open his tiny eyes! I was told that he had double eyelids, but I haven't had a chance to see it for myself.

Maybe he's just shy...Hehe...

How fragile is he!! Born 14th May 2009, he was destined to be part of our family and we welcome him with love!!

Bad Day..Sueh Ah!!

Talk about a Bad Day..

I woke up at 7am this morning when I slept at after 2am..I wonder why??

I couldn't go back to sleep despite my very determined resolution!

When I finally fell back asleep, I woke up at 11.49am...Which is BAD BAD news because I'm suppose to be at work at 12pm!!!

Alright, I'm sure you can imagine what happened...Rushed to change, simply brush my teeth, hurriedly comb hair, no time for contact lens...

One glance at my guilty HP, I saw that only one bar of battery was left. Hurriedly grab the charger and chuck it into my bag, while ensuring that I brought the earphones so that I can listen to the songs I bluetoothed into my HP!

This time, I remembered to bring along my P5 notes! The last time I went to work without it, I was dead bored I had to read the Yellow Pages....Oh gosh..

With an empty stomach, I rushed out of my house, only to realise that I have to undress the CRV because parents are out with the Myvi...

*Dah-lah late...now its getting later!!

Ok lo, undress, unlock and zoom away! Then had to worry about parking that HUGE car with the stress that it is a HOT target for theft...I drove around to find a suitable house that matches the CRV..fuuyoh..then park there and ran all the way to work!!!

Before that, when I was about to get down of the car, I realised I left my P5 notes on the porch with the cover of the CRV...ARGH!!!!!

This is called SUEH!!!

Reach work, boss rushed out for lunch. I 'bravely' asked if she could tabao for me, but she said she was in a hurry, so I let it go. What's a little hunger, I thought...

Boss came back in 15mins and ask if I wanted to tabao. Wah, jumped at the chance! rushed to coffeeshop few doors away to buy the first thing I saw, Chicken Rice was the first stall, so be it!

Got back to work and gobble down within 10mins, just in time when the bell rang and the students started trickling in. Hehe the first few saw me with mouth full of chicken rice, as I quickly swallowed it and threw the box away...

When class started, I thought, YAY! Enjoy time! No P5 notes, means no need to study lo...Can listen to music! So I took out the charger, fixed it and wanted to plug it into the HP...

WRONG CHARGER!!!

Wah, so 'che' man! So bad luck. I had to type sms on the old HP which hurts my fingers badly due to its VERY EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE keypad. (Sis, all your fault!)

One bar of battery could last me a while, I thought, as I plug on earphones and listened to mp3. God knows...WHY?? Out of the blue, a long lost UTAR friend called from outstation....Gone la my battery!!!

I wonder why he had to call me from outstation to ask me out for a catch-up lunch when he could jolly well call me when he gets back. Eh, outstation cal very expensive eh..Smr is 016 to 012...

Tmr is PT2 and I'm SO NOT READYYYYY!!!

Cwazee Day

Wow today was really a hectic day! The original reason for getting part-time jobs was to fill up my free days, but it ended up clogging my busy days and making it worst! And I am still left with a free Thurs and Fri this week....

I had 8am class today. I woke up early, had time for breakfast, went early to class...Everything sounds perfect...

But....

I just had to fall asleep in class!! What the!! Just when I thought that I would be able to concentrate....

Okay..I went home and crashed for 30 mins! Then 11.30am, Sis woke me up, and we headed for SS2 to do our data entry job. I was hungry already, but Sis just had breakfast, so I had to 'tahan' lorh~!!!

Went for lunch at 2.20pm and I was so hungry until tummy went numb..No feel ady...

Left at 4.20pm to rush back for another job at USJ9. Dropped Sis at home and reached at 4.50pm. Stayed til 8.15pm. Beh tahan ady..so hungry~~!!

I got a feeling she didn't like me to stay longer than I am supposed to because it adds up to her cost as she has to pay me more. I told her I stayed back until 8.15pm too the previous day, and she said next time let the teacher handle it herself if her students are late...

Gosh...She doesn't let me on the air-cond, saves on air-cond even on her students, and is so calculative...Is that how a businesswomen should act? Maybe I'm not cut-out to be one then....

Anyway I haven't had such a hectic schedule since God knows when...I'm not sure if I am enjoying this....

P/S: Was chatting on MSN and I realise I hold a huge grudge on myself because this year's birthday I fell sick and I did not officially have my own birthday cake, didn't blow my own candles and make my birthday wishes...Why are grown-ups' birthdays' so uninteresting??!!??

I miss those times when we had parties, played games, have lotsa nice party food, open lotsa prezzies and have lotsa surprises!!!

To eat it!! I was too sick on my birthday to eat a birthday cake. I did not have a birthday cake this year. I did not blow candles, so it is not official that I am of that age!!
Seriously, I wish that everyone stays happy, healthy and wealthy forever!!

ZY, yesterday before I left The Gardens after celebrating Esther's birthday. Esther was like "What happened to you two?" Hahahaha...We hugged and say bye bye like we were seperating forever!!

Mom. About the part time job issue. Oh gosh...

Like as in...romantically? Maybe... Self concious...
Friends? No need to, they have to accept me for who I am, right??

Black, I think. Pure Chinese colour. But sometimes I think its brown under the sun...

D...She freaked out because she could not fit into that outfit...Aww...I love her!
But the night before, Dad really made me laugh. He barged into my room asking for the Skin Food Black Bean Nose Patch...OMG! Dad was so cute! Love him! He went into my toilet to wet his nose and stick it on, and wet it some more! And he intended to leave it on overnight!

Happy Birthday

On this day, my parents were in HangZhou, China, far far away from me.

Sis in class from 8am to 5pm.

I have no class...

But I am sick! Having fever 39 degrees!

Went to see Doctor yesterday. Had to drive myself there although I was burning at 39.4 degrees. I wonder how did I manage to get there and back in one piece. I felt as if I was not in control of my body. My head and neck felt disconnected. Under the hot sun, 2.00pm, I was wearing long sleeves, my sweater and still feeling cold!!

I was suffering alone! At times like this, I missed my parents, miss kakak, and I wish I had someone fussing over me!

Fever left after I ate medicine yesterday night. But it came back at the wee hours of this morning...

I ate medicine and tried to sweat the fever away and get some sleep! I don't want to spend my birthday in bed! I don't want to spend my birthday eating porridge! I refuse to let this day pass without having some fun! Sis and I had such fun plans in mind! Argh~!!!

When Sis came back from class, I insisted that we continue our plan. At least go out for dinner. Sis drove me to Souled Out! My sis was so brave! Although we got lost, made wrong turnings, but we found it and had a great time! Thanks Sis, I love you for it. What would I do without you, I really can't imagine...

Although we did not follow our plan 100%, I am glad that Sis was there for me!

I wasn't feeling 100% well, but I wanted to have some fun on my birthday...

But what a price to pay! During the night, I vomitted and fever came back...
